About SanMath

History

When I was little, my mom would spend hours searching through countless websites, looking for the right worksheets to help me understand mathematical operations. She would print out stacks of practice sheets.. addition, subtraction, multiplication ... carefully choosing each one so I could learn in the best possible way. I didn’t realize it back then, but her dedication played a huge role in shaping my love for learning and building the foundation of my education.

Years later, during the COVID-19 lockdown, I began to see a different side of education. Teachers were struggling to keep up. I watched how they spent extra hours every week trying to create homework assignments, check student work manually, and find ways to explain complex math problems online, all without having proper tools to make it easier. It felt unfair that despite their passion, so much of their energy was spent on tasks that could have been simplified with technology. That’s when it struck me: there wasn’t any software that could not only teach children the steps of mathematical operations but also help teachers assign and grade homework remotely.

When I finally learned programming, I knew exactly what I wanted to do.. create something that could make a real difference. I wanted to build a platform that would empower both teachers and students. A space where children could practice math endlessly and learn at their own pace, while teachers could focus more on teaching and less on paperwork.

That’s how SanMath was born. It took four months of long nights, constant debugging, and invaluable feedback from teachers and parents who believed in the idea. Every suggestion, every improvement made SanMath a little better, a little more meaningful. What started as a simple idea inspired by my mom’s printed worksheets has now grown into a tool that brings learning and teaching together... making math not just easier, but more accessible for everyone.
